On Friday, May 31st, we had the pleasure of organizing the third Ellie’s breakfast event. For the first time on location: at Van de Velde Lingerie, globally known for quality lingerie brands such as Prima Donna, Marie Jo, and Andres Sarda. The event provided the group (mainly female attendees 😉), representing various steps in the value chain, a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experiences in a relaxed and highly inspiring environment.
The morning started with a warm welcome from the guests and a delicious breakfast provided by Tast Toe. This offered a great opportunity to network in an informal setting and exchange initial ideas.
After breakfast, we continued with a session of Ellie’s Circles, where three key statements were discussed under the motto ‘Share what you know, not what you don’t know’!
The outcome of this workshop: an overview of concrete tips & leasings was compiled in an Ellie Wisdom Guide. The morning concluded with an extremely inspiring and engaging tour by Lieve Vermeire, Sustainability Manager at Van de Velde. She took us through the Atelier and Design department, as well as the distribution centre of Van de Velde. The tour provided a fascinating behind-the-scenes look and sparked inspiration among many attendees.
The conclusion of the morning was clear: there are challenges, but the energy and enthusiasm among the attendees are very promising and inspiring. As there are often no ready-made answers to these challenges, learning from each other and connecting with partners can be extremely valuable in taking the next steps forward.
